MH type metallized threads, also named metallic yarns, metallic threads, lurex threads, lurex yarns, are made by twisting slices of single-strand metallic yarn with polyester, polyamide, rayon and artificial cotton. Because of the beautiful color, they are widely applied for plain woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, fabric sweaters, woolen sweaters, shawls, hosieries and Christmas presents.
